Road to Spiel 2019

Gonzalo Aguirre BisiBlog, News10 Comments

Spiel Essen is one of our most anticipated conventions of the year and it is just around the corner!

In this page you will find anything related of what we have prepared for Spiel 2019 along with the possibility to pre-order for Essen pickup. We can't wait to share four days of gaming with you!

In Hats, two to four players compete to acquire the most outstanding hats by exchanging cards in hand with cards on the tea table board. Each card exchange influences how each hat is scored. Naturally, at the end of the game, the player with the highest score will be declared the maddest!

In Rolling Ranch, with a pencil and a Ranch Sheet, each round players use the results of a dice roll to rescue animals and improve their ranch. Each player attempts to place animals in their ranch the best way possible, and construct buildings to receive bonuses that will help them achieve the highest score!

Both our illustrators: Paolo Voto (Hats) and Weberson Santiago (Rolling Ranch) will be signing and drawing on your game boxes while Francesco Testini (Tang Garden's author) will be demoing Tang.
Be sure to come at our booth 2H-F116 for the schedule.

Paolo Voto, from Italy, has always been interested in the illustration field. He studied at the Fine Arts Academy and then shifted to an interdisciplinary approach. He has embarked on different challenges such as has decorating chocolate eggs, illustrating children's books, and working in the advertisement industry. He has recently joined ThunderGryph Games as game and brand illustrator.

Weberson Santiago is an illustrator, working for the Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo. He has illustrated numerous children's books, and has also worked with publishers abroad, such as: Rolling Stone magazine, Marvel, and DC Comics. He now lives with his family in Portugal to deepen his studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisboa.

Francesco Testini is a software designer born and raised in south Italy. He graduated in oriental languages and cultures at 'La Sapienza' University of Rome. Francesco loves designing games about Chinese culture, art and history: Tang Garden and Xi'an are his first games, but he is currently working on new upcoming games for 2020. Today he lives with his wonderful family in Monza, near Milan.

Tang Garden is a Zen-like game that will take you to the first golden age of China, where players will progressively build a garden by creating the landscape, placing the scenery and projecting their vision through vertical panoramas. During the construction, noblemen will visit the garden to admire the surroundings and the way the natural elements coexist in the most breathtaking scenery humankind has ever laid their eyes upon.

Ahead of our retail release in Q1 2020, Francesco Testini (the game author) will be demoing Tang Garden at Spiel 2019 in three steps separated by two rounds each. With each step, you will learn a bit more on how to play and the incredible story of the Tang Dinasty.

See you there! 🍪

If you can not access sports streams from a specific region, then try using a vpn. Only or mostly its the paid ones that support streams so I’d suggest Purevpn since theres an 88% off on it right now for Black Friday. Its a good accessory to have.
