Etherstone update and timeline

I hope you all had wonderful holidays and that your year is off to a great start!
It’s been a while since my last update, so I’ve decided to create a video to share the latest news with you. I would greatly appreciate it if you could spare five minutes to watch it.
Short on time? Here’s a quick summary:
First, I want to sincerely apologize for the delay in sending out this update. The past few months have been challenging on a personal level, but rest assured, the team has been steadily progressing on Etherstone.
Our partners have been reviewing the game and making adjustments, especially in regards to its written elements, this is our first game that is so language-intensive. The response from our distribution network has been fantastic, and we’re now producing four times as many copies as we originally planned.
Timeline Update:
- The order has been placed, materials are being purchased, and tooling is underway.
- Please note that China will be closed for its Lunar New Year from January 15th to February 15th.
- Production will be handled by Longpack, a consistent and reliable partner. They’ve estimated that manufacturing will take 6–7 weeks.
- We expect freight arrangements to take place in March/April, and you should begin receiving your copies in April/May 2025. This represents a three-month delay overall.
In the meantime, we’re working to improve communication with you and the rest of the community. Expect more updates next month, including news about the book and photos and videos of the production as soon as China resumes operations.
