Dear Journal readers,
It’s been a long time since our last catch up. These couple of months have been quite important for us. First of all, we really wanted to put all of our efforts to get the Vessels with Iwari out, we also concentrated on working out the logistics of the replacement parts for Tang Garden and on approving promptly all the different Matchbox Collection files that were sent our way.
While these have been very productive months for us, we missed April’s Journal, but this one will be special. There is still a lot ahead of us for this year and many more surprises to unveil.
During this past year, writing these Journals has been an amazing experience, and now with you being more than 20’000 readers, we felt that we had to step up the organization for redeeming seals and to upgrade the way you can interact with us. This pushed us to create the Thundergryph Club.
A place that feels like home.
We soft-launched the Thundergryph Club on our website for the past couple of weeks and we are really excited by the chance of shaping this community together by interacting more with you.
By revamping our entire social presence on June 1st, we will spotlight a game each week and engage through contests, beautiful photos by BoardGameShot, polls and live streams to make sure you can interact further with us, making your opinion crucial on the shaping and development of our games and the future of Thundergryph, giving us the chance to make our games evolve along with you.
By reading this journal, you will still get a seal as usual, but you will be able to see your balance and redeem rewards anytime under your Club personal page.
By interacting with us over the course of the week, you will be able to get a new currency called Thunders, which will also be awarded when purchasing through our Online shop or Kickstarter and in the near future, inside all our game boxes.
The marketplace to redeem your points will change every month, with a new selection of items being added. At this moment, you will find a limited amount of items as we are trying to control the experience to fix promptly any problem that might occur.
You can visit our website to know more about it!
Join the Club and earn your first 1000 Thunders!
The zen garden experience is coming to retail!
Tang Garden releases in retail on June 4th, along with our distribution partner: Lucky Duck Games.
Tang Garden is a Zen-like game that will take you to the first golden age of China, where players will progressively build a garden by creating the landscape, placing the scenery, and projecting their vision through vertical panoramas. During the construction, noblemen will visit the garden to admire the surroundings and the way the natural elements coexist in the breathtaking scenery.
During the game, you will be able to place a panorama tile, a new element that adds a never-ending perspective for the visitors. The Panoramas will interact with the characters at the end of the game by giving prestige points based on what your visitor sees and likes.
At the end of the game, the player with the most prestige will be the winner.
You can find the English edition in your friendly local game store from June 4th.
If you have any questions or issues, be sure to contact us through our online form.
